The world from my view...

Culture Day at my school proved to be a ton of fun!

Three of my students and one random nephew!

Students had to get dressed up in "traditional" Honduran attire and present about one region of Honduras. It made for a fun day and a lot of good food!

I took a trip to the nearby colonial town of Comayagua.

Then it was a long-weekend excursion to Isla de Tigre right off the Pacific Ocean.

My fellow gringo traveling mates.

Our accomodations for the one night!! It wasn't until the morning that I found out everyone was freezing over night but I was nice and warm in my sleeping bag (Thanks Becca!!!)

A church, on an island, with a former volcanic mountain behind, and clouds hovering in the distance.

What beach would be complete without donkies? The funny thing is there is a beach on the island called Playa de Burro (Donkey Beach)... this isn't it though!!
