Don't think.

A new home, a new culture, a new language, a new job, new co-workers, new roommate, new friends... with my move to Honduras, there's been lots to think about. The interesting thing is that I've found at times like this, it's often best to not think at all!

That's right... any time a thought pops into my head, I've tried to force it out. I enjoy thinking, but I've found that's safer during significant times of transition with so many unknowns. It's so easy for your mind to start worrying about things that will make much more sense in a few weeks. My whole world has been thrown around... it's too easy for me to stress about silly things. So now, I try not to think. I will try to take things in, to observe, to appreciate, to digest what's happening... but not to think about my life or my current situation as things will look much different once I'm settled in and into a routine.

This advice rings really true with me right now Noel. Thanks for the thought :)

I hope this week holds a miracle that hits you right where you need it.

so true...it took me far to long to grasp that notion.
