Well, it's been a little while since I last wrote and thought it's about time to update you! In case you have not yet heard... I'm moving to Honduras!
This year I will be teaching at Siguatepeque Bilingual Christian School in Siguatepeque, Honduras in Central America.
Yes, I know I was looking at grad school but I've decided it's better to wait on that for one more year. I was interested in the field of teaching and was also interested in being in an international setting. An opportunity developed in Honduras to teach English and English Conversation class for high school students. And this Saturday, August 11th, after a fun-filled but transient summer I leave for Honduras!!
I would love if you would join with me in praying for some of the following things:
- Transition! A new country (to learn about it), a new language (to learn Spanish as well as possible), a new living arrangement (that I would love being with the other teachers I'll be living with).
- Teaching. That I would be able to teach well keeping the students engaged and genuinely loving them.
- Serving. That I would be able to serve the students and people in the school and community!
- God. That through this time of transition God would be my first priority and that I would serve and delight Him.
