A day in the life of...

A day in the life of…

This is a typical week day in the life of Noel, teacher at Siguatepeque Bilingual School.

6:00 – 7:00 am – Wake up and start my day (depending on what time classes start).

7:30 am – 2:30 pm – Shape the mind of the young of Hondurans, grade, lesson plan, and hand out detentions

2:30 – 4 pm – Grade homework and plan lessons either at the school, at my home, or in a bakery in town

4 – 5:30 pm – Spanish Class two days a week

5:30 – 6:30 pm – Make something for dinner. Eat it.

7 – 10 pm – Grade homework, play football (a.k.a. soccer), Bible Study, talk to a wonderful young lady in Canada, or any number of other sundry activities

10:30 – 11 pm – Brush my teeth, wash my face, take out my contacts, go to bed and get ready to do it all again tomorrow

Weekends include wandering around town, enjoying sunshine, random weekend excursions to exotic locales, or just catching up on grading and lesson planning!
