Hurray for transition

Well, after several weeks of squeezing the round peg of life into the square whole of transition, I'm hitting the road for Asia. Tomorrow night I fly out to Asia, and arrive at my destination in Taiwan on Monday afternoon (compliments of crossing the International Date Line).

Life is about to take a significant change as I will be leaving not only a place I know, but a culture, and way of life. While I'm quite excited about a lot of aspects of it, I also feel that it is all very surreal and the fact that this time tomorrow I'll be heading to the other side of the world definitely hasn't sunk in.

I definitely feel as if I'm in a bit of a haze right now as I try to sort out my life. I'm only going for three months at this point... no big deal... but it's a definite change in not only my location, but how I live. While I love the variety, it should be interesting to see what it's like not to have one definite "home" to come back to after a few days of travel. I'll just have to take my home with me!!! (I truly don't know what that means)

This should be good!!!

Let the learning begin!!!
