It has been fantastic to see the ways that God has answered prayers so far during this first week of my travels. One big thing is how I have been blessed with meeting some fantastic people so far on my trip:
- Darryl, a young teacher at the school in Taiwan who took me out to some good restaurants and the night market in Taiwan (pictures to come when my computer is working)
- Peter, the guidance counselor in Taiwan
- Denny, a gentleman who went incredibly out of his way to arrange for me to stay in Taipei
- Elaine, a recent college grad who showed me around Taipei (a connection made through Denny)
- Bill, a rep from another school who I just happened to be staying at the same place as in Taipei
Also, I've yet to get lost, miss a connection, or get turned around... even without any of the language.
Thanks for your prayers. Please keep praying... for God to use me, to stretch me... and also that my computer will be working properly so I can download my pictures to it and talk on Skype (www.skype.com to talk for free on your computer).
