Odd.

It's great to be back home, to a place I know, with people I know. It is, however, quite... well... odd. Odd is probably the best word I can use to describe how I've felt since arriving back to Canada.

I don't know if it's the jet lag, time change, skewed sleep hours, lingering effects of a mild head cold, or my time of the month... but I do feel... well... odd. A little hazy, or funky if you will. There's a bit of culture shock (or "culture stress" as Dr. A would say)... but I think much can be contributed to the perpetual bliss of transition; placing the square peg in the round whole (or is it the other way around?).

It is good to be back. I think it'll be even better once the haze lifts!
