Well, here I am, in Dubai. City of the future, right?
I'm about to hop onto a plane (hurray for free wireless internet at the airport) so I can't write more, but I will tell you that it is quite the city.
Lawns you could putt on.
Roads so populated with Mercedes and Land Rovers you'd think they were giving them away.
Massive construction everywhere you look as if to say "Look out world, here we ARE!"
It makes you think you're looking at mega super power of the world... or momentary blip in a history book if the markets turn and the city turns into a massive ghost town.
Ah well, in the mean time, here's to skiing in the desert... I'll send pictures! (http://www.skidxb.com/English/default.aspx)
Now, on to Egypt where I will be meeting my dad on the other side!
