It's a small world afterall

Bored, standing in line at the Bangkok airport I turned around to the English-speaking-looking person behind me (I talk to strangers... I'm just friendly like that).

Me: Where are you from?
Her: Canada
Me: Where?
Her: Toronto
Me: Keep going
Her:
Me: I'm from Markham
Her: I'M FROM MARKHAM!!!!

Turns we grew up down the street from each other and went to "rival" elementary schools (granted she went several years before me). All this on a flight from Bangkok to Beijing... on the otherside of the world!!!

It really is a small world after all!!
