- I'm teaching English to Sudanese refugees (it's funny the image I have of "refugees"... it never occurred to me that there actually real people)
- Studying Arabic (not only new words... new written characters too!)
- Helping with an English-speaking Egyptian church
- Getting involved with a teacher training for teachers at schools for Sudanese refugees
- Spending time hanging out with people in "Garbage City"
- Enjoying Cairo... one of the most densely populated and polluted cities in the world... but a fascinating place nonetheless
